Selvedge is a bimonthly print magazine, published on the 15th of every second month (15th of February, April, June, August, October and December). Selvedge features 96 pages dedicated to inspiring textiles explored in fine art, craft, design, interiors and shopping. Size 24 cm x 24 cm. Printed with soy-based inks on FSC certified paper which has been produced in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. Sent in biodegradable packaging.
Gift subscriptions are suitable for someone else or for yourself if you prefer a fixed-term subscription option. Our fixed-term gift subscriptions will not automatically renew. At the end of the subscription term you (or the recipient of the gift) will be contacted by us and we'll ask if a renewal would like to be pursued.
Gift subscriptions start with the current issue which will be gift wrapped in Cambridge Imprint wrapping paper and Selvedge ribbon and dispatched the next working day after placing your order with us. Special requests for gift subscriptions (i.e. delaying the dispatch of the first issue to meet a specific date) must be submitted before placing a gift subscription order with us as there is no guarantee they can be met once an order has been placed. Please be aware that depending on when you place your order with us, the gift recipient may well receive the next issue under their subscription soon after their gift wrapped first issue arrives with them as the issues are released bi-monthly on the 15th February, April, June, August, October and December.
Deliveries in the UK can take up to 14 working days.
Once your order is placed we will be in touch to activate the subscription, determining if the subscription is for yourself or a gift for someone else. If the subscription is for yourself we'll need to ensure you are opted in to receive our emails if you wish to receive the digital download of each issue under the subscription. You will be emailed the subscriber access code for the current issue accessible via the Subscriber Access page on our website.
If the subscription is a gift for someone else we will send you a Selvedge subscription notification you can send to them personally via email when you are ready to gift the subscription to them. This will ask them to get in touch with us directly to activate their gift subscription. They will be emailed the subscriber access code for the current issue accessible via the Subscriber Access page on our website. They can then decide whether to opt in to receive the digital download of each issue released to them. If you would prefer us to notify the gift recipient of their gift subscription on a specific date please let us know by contacting Jane, our customer service manager. If they opt in to receive our emails, future issues will then be sent directly to them. An email will be sent within 72 hours of each issue release which provides a digital download for each issue and the issue's access code allowing access to daily stories, the opportunity to enter a competition and access to a free online talk. Please check spam/junk folders if it hasn't been received within this timeframe. To keep the digital download forever please ensure it is downloaded to a device before the release of the next issue as the access code then changes and the download is no longer available.
